We are currently restructuring our programs and are not providing services. However, we have a list of resources below to help you find a child therapist, free online videos and courses, and provide resources for no-low-cost services such as daycare, food, housing, transportation, and legal aid.
Finding a Child Therapist Certified in PCIT or PC-Care:
You can find PCIT or PC-Care certified therapists near you in the directories listed below. You will need to call to see if they accept your insurance.
PCIT International Therapist Directory - (ages 2.5 - 10)
UC Davis PCIT & PC-Care Directory - (ages 1 - 12)
PCIT & TCIT Training Directory - (ages 2.5 - 10)
PCIT Toddler (ages 1-3)
You can also contact your pediatrician for a referral for behavioral or mental health services, contact your local county mental health department, or call your local school district for an Early Start assessment if your child is under 3 years old.
Hint: If no therapist near you accepts your insurance.
Parents are often surprised to learn that online therapy works well with PCIT and PC-Care. That's because the parent is trained to provide the therapeutic play time with the child in every session. The child always receives in-person intervention directly from their parent whether in the office or online. So be sure to check your entire state for someone who accepts your insurance.
